Pay Rate: $24.16 - $30.21 / per hour

This position is responsible for driving full-cycle recruitment of all organization-wide positions to meet department and organizational recruitment goals and objectives. Manages and participates in requisition flow and applicant screening process. Sources candidates via direct, online and networking channels. Works with hiring managers to fill open requisitions for a wide range of non-exempt, professional and leadership positions. Provides an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process, including background checks, communicating employment offers and closing of candidates. Administrates, promotes and applies organizational Brand, EVP and social presence for the Talent Acquisition function. This position brings value to the organization by ensuring that qualified team members fit with the organization’s desired culture and objectives and within legal guidelines and credit union policies.


  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment: Creates and posts openings within professional organizations and online sites/networks. Develops a pool of qualified candidates – sources (including cold calling to passive candidates), reviews and analyzes employment applications, resumes and assessment results.
  • Administers and maintains applicant tracking and pre-employment assessment software/systems.
  • Recommends qualified candidates for manager review.
  • Schedules, coordinates and facilitates Interviews.
  • Working with the hiring manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS), extends job offer as appropriate.
  • Prepares, communicates and sends offer letter and new hire package to candidates.
  • Assists with onboarding and first day welcome activities (tour, introductions, system access, etc.).
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with management and communicates status of recruiting relating to their business units.
  • Trains and supports development of hiring manager in interview, recruitment, and employment system processes. Ensures corporate programs are adhered to and provides guidance to management to ensure compliance with all talent acquisition programs.
  • Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Ensures background process is complete, audited and in compliance. Works in conjunction with the (TAS) on offer recommendation based on compensation methodology and legal compliance. Communicates recommendation to hiring manager and participates in the offer negotiation process, as needed.
  • Responsible for administration, marketing and application of organizational Brand, EVP and social presence for the Talent Acquisition function. Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Keeps up-to-date with recruiting trends and applicable legal compliance. Researches and provides recommendations to enhance recruiting process. Assists with maintaining and updating recruiting procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal labor laws.
  • Assists TAS with providing PD Management up-to-date recruiting status activity on a regular basis (communication/reports) – i.e. new hires, terms, open positions, etc. Tracks and maintains documentation for staffing requisitions.
  • Acts as a company liaison with Staffing agencies as needed. Orders, tracks, and maintains all temporary employee assignments, negotiates rates, maintains contracts.

Job Requirements


  • 3-years directly related work experience as a full-cycle recruiter. Recruiting for multi-state and multi-location experience is a must. Experience in a Financial Institution or Staffing Agency environment is preferred.
  • Experienced user of LinkedIn Recruiter, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms.
  • Utilizing job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.
  • Administration and marketing of organizational brand and EVP within recruiting function.
  • Must have solid knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices as well as knowledge of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate, establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, team members, leadership and external partners.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to be flexible, a team player and interface professionally with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques.
  • Demonstrated investigative and research skills for sourcing candidates and learning about job and technology requirements for various business units.
  • Strong organizational, follow up, prioritization and negotiation skills. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, HRIS/AT systems and web based applications and complex Outlook scheduling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent additional job experience is required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.
