Job Description

Pay Range: $64,373 - $80,467

The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for the deployment, administration and maintenance of People Development (PD) and Learning systems, reports and data to effectively guide the team to carry out all assigned goals and objectives of Nuvision. He/she analyzes day-to-day information, and generates reports to create efficiencies for PD and Training managers and team members. Using appropriate reporting tools, data base, queries and HR and Learning Management systems develops standardized reports. Serves as a liaison with third parties, vendors, business teams and stakeholders to include: payroll, compensation, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and Training and Development and organizational administrative support. The position serves as the PD and Learning systems point of contact and may be required to train end users on new processes, functionalities and develop training material as needed.  Will be called upon to assist with merger and acquisition data analysis and support a variety of departments upon request and may oversee project work flows steams. Willing to work on ad-hoc assignments and projects and other tactical responsibilities. The HRIS Analyst is a member of a high performing team i.e. the Information Technology arm of the People Development areas.

Systems: Interprets business requirements into specifications for HRIS application.  Performs data integration, configuration changes in accordance with applications, interfaces, and programs used in PD. Makes recommendations and proposals for new software, upgrades and releases. Works with all third party vendors to ensure outcomes include efficient programs, accurate reports (custom and Ad-hoc) to manage the PD functions, metrics and key objectives. Trouble shoots problems and technical issues to sustain data integrity and make sure all work streams are efficient and effective.

Reporting: Compiles, analyzes and interprets large amounts of data and develops a variety of reports and queries on key metrics for department heads and stakeholders. Acts as liaison between PD and IT and partners with co-workers to leverage technology. May train other support personnel to import/export files.  

Process Flows and Work Streams: reviews, tracks and makes recommendations for all PD work flows to ensure efficient operations and best practices.

Audit: Maintains documentation and procedures for audit and tracking purposes. Makes changes as required to ensure proper controls and separation of duties.

Project Management and Administration:  In addition to what has been previously listed above, will perform reviews for PD and Training including creating business case recommendations, test scripts, testing pre and post implementation processes within stated timeline.  Uses data and available resources to build appropriate project plans to ensure effective outcomes. Overall ownership of all system administration tasks including training, technology enhancements and security of data integrity

Trouble Shooting: Chief architect of all PD systems and called upon to trouble shoot any problems to maintain work flows. Continues to test and retest programs to obtain maximum efficiencies.

Dashboard: will build a PD dashboard to collect and report important metrics to manage PD on a daily basis; this includes total headcount, new hires, turnover, and updates.

Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.

Other related duties and special projects as assigned: for example will review design and maintain the overall organizational charts and automate for daily updates and use.

Maintains member and other sensitive information with confidentiality.

Job Requirements

Minimum 4 years’ experience with HRIS, with a minimum of 2 years payroll system administration experience.

5 Years of HRIS experience.  2-3 experience in Applicant Tracking, Compensation and Benefits System Administration, Multi- year experience with Payroll System integrations and implementations

One of the following certifications:

Project Management Certification

SHRM – CP

PHR

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, HR or equivalent work experience.

In-depth technical system knowledge and demonstrated experience with supporting one or more modules in complex HR and/or payroll systems  (e.g., ADP, Cornerstone, Luceo)

Strong understanding of human resources concepts, operations,  practices and regulatory needs including the HR lifecycle and its integration with systems

Advanced Excel Skills, including strong understanding of MS Word, PowerPoint. Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong Analytical Skills: works with large amounts of data, facts and figures to determine objectives and results.

Excellent Communication Skills: Able to present findings and translate data into understandable ways.

Critical Thinking: Able to synthesize data and determine business outcomes.

Attention to Detail: All data must have integrity and be precise.

Project Management:  Advanced skills in project management, process work flows, and ability to build and implement projects and proposals 

Demonstrated understanding of organizational models. Ability to interpret, communicate and provide guidance to all levels of the organization as necessary.

Ability to work independently and judgment to work effectively in a multi- project environment.
